Leather Card Boxes
This is the first Design of the leather card boxes. Probably I will go with a different version in the future. There are a lot of very nice possibilities out there and probably i will make a thin but durable wood box. I do not know yet.

Leather Boxes
In January I noticed that all the proxy cards I had printed out over the last few months were lying around everywhere. There wasn't an adequate way to store them. So I sat down and built a kind of pre-visualization in Zbrush for a leather box that could be delivered with the game. Of course the game will contain about 800 cards at some point, so I had to build 8 boxes to store the cards in sleeves. The boxes should be easy to open, so I decided to use a wide leather strap that holds the flap in position.
A friend built a paper prototype and then leather boxes that matched the color of the wood. In addition, I developed leather pouches in different sizes, with a special "tower battlement design" so that the bags are easy to close. The bags contain all coins, markers and human models.
I have developed a pattern from which a metal tool is made. The metal tool is then heated to burn the pattern into the bags and card boxes.
Miniatures
I've finished two new miniatures that probably won't see any play for a while until I find out how the Spell mechanics work best and what kind of balancing I need.
Game Design
I have made many tests where to position the different coins and figures on the playing field. I have developed some ideas to create a new way of fighting. But this is still in the beginning stages and I don't know yet if it works. The idea behind it is that both players can draw a certain amount of cards, choose one and then combine it with their dice. If the players combine cleverly and use their re-rolls wisely, they can unlock a different region of these battle cards.
Website
This month I also built this website so other game designers can see what I'm working on and get in touch with me. With my limited knowledge, it took me 2 weeks to build this website. It's not so easy to put all the material together. [of course this is not the old website. This content has now transfered to the haresy.games website!]

interesting way of card & dice combat
An interesting way of combining cards and dice for combat that is still skill based and not only depending on luck. I think i had an idea of how to do it.
